Cancer Clinic Urgently Needs Your Help!
The award-winning OMID Cancer Clinic in Urumia, Iran, is a huge success story for us.
Starting as a small cancer clinic in West Azerbaijan 36 years ago, it has grown into a 100-bed hospital that treats some 30,000 patients annually. It is equipped with Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy units along with facilities to host underprivileged patients and their family in a 32-room residential building FREE of charge.
Today, this UN-recognized medical center is itself in urgent need of a modern MRI unit for proper cancer diagnosis of its patients. That is why we at Razi Health Foundation, Luke 10, and Mothers Against Poverty have come together to raise funds for the purchase of this equipment and invite YOU to take part, as well, in this life-saving humanitarian project.
Manufactured by Siemens, USA under general license from OFAC, this state-of-the-art unit is expected to cost $1.5 million, includes cost of installation, training and maintenance by their authorized dealer in Tehran.
Thus far, we have secured donation/pledges totalling $300,000. We have also reached out to other well-respected NGO's for grants. Our goal is to fill the remaining gap with your generous help so that the purchase of this life-saving unit can be made by the end of 2026.
